The Studio
One of the Cabot Trail's most spectacular ocean views is yours at Wreck Cove on the east coast of Cape Breton Island. Comb the beach for surf treasures. Watch the gannets dive while you sit at your breakfast table and enjoy the ocean sunrise, or marvel as the coral afterglow spreads across the water at sunset. There are 100 acres of ocean front and mountain wilderness to explore from our private natural hiking trails, right at your door step, very season of the year. We also invite you to swim in the spring-fed pond and, in season, enjoy the produce and berries from the vegetable and flower gardens.
Our lovely apartment over the studio offers one bedroom with a queen size bed, a complete kitchen, dining area, and a separate lounge with a comfortable futon. The bathroom also has laundry facilities. This accommodation is furnished with care and attention to detail. It accommodates 4 in comfort and total privacy. All linens and staple supplies are provided. Electric heat.
Sunbathe in privacy or enjoy a barbecue on the balcony overlooking a little pond, a babbling brook, with a view of the ocean at the skyline.
A separate building houses the games room with a pool table, ping-pong table and dart game for those rainy days or long winter evenings after skiing or snowshoeing. Petanque balls, croquette and other games are also available.
